Villa Kommodor – Holiday house in Finland/Sweden archipelago

Villa Kommodor is located in the archipelago of the Åland Islands and can be reached by car from Mariehamn harbour in approximately 30 minutes and from Långnäs harbour in approximately 10 minutes.

Viking Line and Silja Line have daily ferries from both Finland and Sweden arriving at these harbours. In addition Eckerö harbour can be reached by car in approximately 1 hour and has daily ferries to Grisslehamn harbour in Sweden. It is also possible to catch flights to both Finland and Sweden from Mariehamn Airport. Also Finnlines has started to sail on the route Kapellskär (Sweden) - Långnäs (Åland) - Naantali (Finland).

Accommodation  

Villa Kommodor can accommodate up to 10 guests. The Villa is well suited for groups and families who wish to spend their vacation together. Villa Kommodor consists of a main building of about 120 m2, two smaller guest cottages, a boathouse with a boat and a hectare of land, including an own shoreline. 

Rowing boats, sauna, grill, open fire place and firewood available. Linen and final cleaning available.

Villa Kommodor has also its own sandy beach, a boat house and two piers and a boat ramp (private driveway to own beach).

Activities and usage

Are you interested in fishing (good fishing waters), boating, ball games, orienteering, fitness, biking, hunting? Everything can be arranged. Just let us know how you would like to spend your vacation and we will organize it for you. 

Villa Kommodor is an ideal place to have business meetings. Results will be achieved here. We are happy to help with any organisational issues.

Location

Lumparland is one of the smallest municipalities in Finland and only has 400 inhabitants. Lumparland offers a beautiful and peaceful  nature. The main village has a shop, a beach with a playing field and picnic tables and Ålands oldest surviving wooden church.

Svinö harbour is located 10 minutes from Villa Kommodor and has daily ferries going to Degerby on Föglö Island. The crossing takes 30 minutes. Långnäs harbour also has daily ferries going between the small islands in the archipelago. It is also possible to reach mainland Finland (Korpo and Gustavs) with several smaller ferries. A bus drives from Lumparland to Mariehamn and back daily.

Renting

Villa Kommodor can be rented on a weekly basis during the summer season (Sunday - Sunday). Between the end of August and mid-June it is possible to rent the villa on a daily basis.
