Archipelago property Villa Kommodor
Villa Kommodor is located just half an hour’s drive from Mariehamn and ten minutes’ drive from Långnäs harbour, both of which are served by Viking Line, Silja Line and Finnlines from Finland and Sweden.
About 50 minutes’ drive away is Eckerö harbour, from which there are several daily two-hour ferry connections on the Eckeröline to/from Grisslehamn in Sweden. Mariehamn has flights to both Finland and Sweden. Finnlines also operates the route Naantali – Långnäs – Kapellskär. From Långnäs harbour it is a 10-minute drive to Villa Kommodor, passing the local country shop and an old wooden church.
Premises
Villa Kommodor can accommodate a maximum of 10 persons. This means that you can easily spend your vacation together with, for example, another family of friends. You have the entire property at your disposal, which includes the main building of about 120 m2, two guest cottages (not in use wintertime), a boathouse, two larger piers and a yard area of about one hectare and an own beach. Place for children playing and gaming. Also available a bathing tube for rent.
There is a rowing boat, sauna, grill, fireplace and firewood. Sheets and final cleaning can be rented.
Villa Kommodor also has its own sandy beach, as well as a slip way for boats (private driveway to own beach and boat ramp).

Location
With around 400 inhabitants, Lumparland is one of the smallest municipalities in Finland. The municipality offers attractions and beautiful and peaceful archipelago nature. There is a well-equipped country store close to Villa Kommodor. Also, Åland’s oldest wooden church, next to which you can find a sandy beach with dining tables, playgrounds, etc. Good for small children.

A ten-minute drive away is the port of Svinö, from which there are several daily ferry connections to Degerby in Föglö Islands, with a half an hour sailing-time. There is also Restaurant Seagram https://www.seagram.ax/ beside Degerby boat harbour.
There are also several daily ferry connections to the beautiful archipelago of Åland from the port of Långnäs. With various ferry connections from Långnäs, you can also reach Korpo and Kustavi/Gustavs in mainland Finland. There is also a daily bus connection from Lumparland to Mariehamn.

Rental
Villa Kommodor is rented during the summer (weeks 28>32), as a rule, in periods of a week (Saturday – Saturday). From the end of August to the middle of June (weeks 1-27 and weeks 33-52) there is also the possibility to rent at a daily rate.
Prices 2025 – 2026 (1-10 persons):
Weekly prices: €1,950 – €2,870 (Saturday is the arrival and departure day of guests)
Daily price: €480 – €590, minimum 2 days

For reservations of two or more weeks, a 25% discount for the second and following weeks.
Cancellation of booked reservations is not possible. Still possible to change the reservation to another time during the same year if changes are made latest 6 weeks before arrival. We recommend to take a travel insurance, which cover force major cancellations.
